I worked as a content writer alongside videographers, digital designers, and storytellers to share the stories of HOPE’s clients with our donors. I wrote and edited copy for the organization’s monthly emails and client features.

Additionally, I audited HOPE’s blog to determine which blogs were worth republishing, and I assisted with writing updates. I also created content and managed social media platforms.

Marketing Internship

Half a Bubble Out

Marketing Internship

During this internship I was given the chance to work on a team offering marketing consulting to clients. I assisted with a client’s website redesign and blog migration to the new website. In addition to the blog migration, I managed a client’s social media.

Aside from working with clients, much of this internship consisted of sitting in on meetings, diligently asking questions, and observing my coworkers work their way through tasks.

Biola University

Resident Advisor

Serving as a Resident Advisor allowed me to grow as a leader while supporting and guiding students through relationships, personal growth, and the challenges of living away from home. I planned and facilitated engaging community events that fostered connection and belonging, including Heat Hay Day, National Ball, Midnight Madness, and RA training team bonding activities.

In this role, I regularly navigated conflict resolution and student care situations with empathy and discretion, while also administering necessary discipline in alignment with campus policies. I collaborated closely with a team of Resident Advisors and professional staff, developing strong communication skills and a thoughtful, relational approach to leadership.

Education & TA Work

I’ve worked with pre-k, elementary, and higher education. My experience has included teaching, instructing, and guiding students through their questions and encouraging them in their potential.

Target Market Project

Through this project I gained hands-on experience collecting data, analyzing insights, and solving real problems. As part of this work, I researched the private Christian school industry in Orange County, focusing on two schools with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and business potential.
